5k Volunteer Job Descriptions

All volunteers must arrive at 6:30 AM

 

Course Monitors Job duty:

12 volunteers will be positioned in specific spots on the course, encouraging participants and ensuring everyone stays on the right path and doesn’t get lost. Some volunteers may have a sign to hold.

 

Water Station Job Duties:

3 volunteers will be in charge of setting the table up, passing out water to the participants, and making sure it’s all stocked up.

 

Food Area Job Duties:

4 volunteers will set up food and drinks etc. Keep everything stocked.

 

Registration Table Job Duties:

6 volunteers will sign up new registrants, pass out t-shirts, guide them to the start line.

 

Finish Line Job Duties:

3 volunteers will be helping Ray, who will be setting up the timed race. They will be located at the Start/Finish line.

 

Greeter Job Duties:

2 volunteers will be located right at the beginning of the parking lot, letting people know if they need to register/pick up a t-shirt, they will go to the registration table. If they went to packet pick up and the participant is ready for the race, the volunteer will guide them to the start area right across the road on the dirt path.

 

End of Course Job Duties:

2 volunteers will follow the last walker in so we know when the last participant is done.
