April 8151 Warehouse - Packing & Sorting

Thank you for your interest in Sorting & Packing donated foods at All Faiths Food Bank! Food sorting/packing volunteers serve a crucial role at the Food Distribution Center (FDC).

 

You will be working in the smaller warehouse located next door to our main office building at 8151 Blaikie Ct, Sarasota. There is parking available right outside of the building, so please do not park in the main lot. Look for the sign that indicates where to park. 

 

Volunteers are responsible for:

            1: Checking for expired labels

            2: Checking the integrity of food products

            3: Sorting food products

            4: Boxing items

            5: Placing boxed food into the warehouse for distribution.

 

Physical Requirements:

            1: Stand for three hours

            2: Closed toed shoes only

            3: Follow dress code according to AFFB hand book (no tank tops, offensive clothing, etc.)

            4: There are no seated positions available for this opportunity.
