Angeline's Lunch Service

Event Description:

Volunteers for the Weekday Lunch Service will work in the kitchen, serve lunch and interact with the women of Angeline’s Day Center.  For many of Angeline’s women, meals are the highlight of the day and providing them “service with a smile” is important. Additionally, volunteers help the kitchen staff increase efficiency and keep the daily meals running smoothly.

Volunteers will work in the kitchen doing a variety of assignments.  These may include: serving, prepping, stocking, cleaning and cooking.

This is a great lunch-time opportunity for anyone working in the downtown corridor.

All YWCA volunteers under age 16 are required to have a parent or guardian volunteer with them.

DO NOT sign up for more than 5 shifts at a time.

To complete court-ordered community service hours with YWCA, you must contact Volunteer Services and be cleared before you begin your volunteer hours. Contact us at 206.461.3214 or volunteer@ywcaworks.org.
