Come help celebrate Kids to Park Day at Shorty Howell Park! Volunteers will assist with helping children build memorable experiences in nature.

Volunteers will help with setting up event, assisting with crafts/games and event break-down. There will be a total of 3 stations and volunteers will be split up into groups to help assist any one of the 3 stations. The 3 stations include a scavenger hunt, pottery/craft section and a football station in which volunteers will be responsible for keeping score of participants.

Volunteers are encouraged bring a water bottle and a snack. Event will be outdoors. Volunteers should look presentable and wear closed toe shoes and athletic clothing. Should prepare for outdoor conditions and to be present at their assigned station for duration of the event.

All Gwinnett County volunteers are required to agree and complete the WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE form. Please have your waiver signed and ready to be turned in at the volunteer event.
