Scope of Work: Big Day of Giving (BDOG) is an annual 24-hour giving challenge to help local nonprofits raise funds to make a difference in the Sacramento region.

 

As a Big Day of Giving Support Volunteer, you will complete various administrative tasks. This includes writing thank you notes to donors, making phone calls to express gratitude, and joining ODI staff in celebrating the incredible contributions of the community!

 

BDOG is not only a meaningful way to commemorate the work we do, but it is also a fun way to connect with fellow volunteers, staff, and board members. It is a chance to come together, celebrate our collective efforts, and build a strong community of support!

 

Time Commitment: This event will occur on Thursday, May 2nd. There are three time slots you can select from. 

  • 10:00am - 12:00pm 
  • 12:00pm - 2:00pm 
  • 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm and excitement for Opening Doors’ mission and values
  • Nice penmanship
  • Comfortability speaking on the phone
