Empty Bowls Benefit Dinner

Volunteer for our annual Empty Bowls Benefit Dinner!

 

Empty Bowls has been a part of our organization for over 20 years! It is a beloved fundraiser where our community comes together for an evening of good food, great conversations, and hope for our future. Attendees will receive a handmade bowl crafted by a local artisan to honor those in our community who have empty bowls, lacking the food they need. 

 

We need volunteers to make sure this event looks and runs smoothly!

 

Position Descriptions

• Set Up Crew (8:00am-12:00pm): Help transform an empty hall into a beautiful space for Empty Bowls Benefit Dinner. Assist with setting up before the event may include moving tables and chairs into place, setting linens, placing centerpieces and table numbers, and other tasks as needed. Age Requirement: 15 years and older
  
• Registration and Ushers (4:30pm-9:30pm): Welcome and check in guests, provide directions/information where to sit, and clean up. Dinner will be provided to volunteers that stay for clean up. Age Requirement: 16 years and older
  
• Silent Auction Volunteers (4:30pm-9:30pm): Instruct and direct guests on how to download the Class Live App for the silent auction, assist with check out, and clean up. Dinner will be provided to volunteers that stay for clean up. Age Requirement: 16 years and older
