| Description:
We are looking for volunteers to help the Horticulture team remove weeds and debris from the garden beds in the Iris Garden. This important task helps to prepare the garden beds for peak bloom time! We are looking for volunteers that are comfortable with bending, stooping, and working outside in general. Tools will be provided.
About the Iris Garden:
The sweeping Alice Hahn Goodman Iris Garden, designed in 1984, contains over 1,200 irises, including every horticultural division of bearded iris, beardless, Siberian and Louisiana irises, and a collection of species irises adaptable to the St. Louis climate.
