Ever wonder where all those donations go after they're dropped off at The Mustard Seed? Find out in this unique opportunity to help sort and organize donations in our Resource Sorting Centre! This is a great opportunity for families or groups of 3 - 12 people to help make a difference in the lives of our guests.

 

To book a group for this event, please fill out a Group Booking Form

 

Some volunteers should be capable of performing some medium or heavy lifting. (20-40lbs)

 

If under 18 years old a youth waiver form must be completed prior to volunteering. Please find a copy here.

 

Donation Sorting Groups

9:00 - 11:00 am | 2:00 - 4:00 pm  Saturday Only

1:00 pm – 3:00pm Tuesday - Saturday


Volunteer Groups will work alongside our Resource Centre Supervisor to organize, sort and pack donations to be shipped to our Shelter for our guests. You will also help with cleaning the centre before and after your shift.

 

Volunteer Requirements:

Volunteer must be 12 years of age and older
Must have your  own vehicle or a ride - busing is limited and there is no sidewalk towards the RSC building
