Immerse yourself in awe-inspiring Chinese cultural performances, music, art, and history while enjoying authentic cuisine.
Since 1996, the Garden has collaborated with the Chinese Culture Education and Services Foundation to produce an event to celebrate Chinese culture. Hundreds of community volunteers work towards producing a weekend filled with colorful Chinese pageantry, art, music and dance, history and legends, and of course, wonderful food!
Volunteer Positions:
Program/ Line Management: Volunteers will monitor lines and assist visitors with directional information about the Garden.
Wheelchair/ Volunteer Check In: Volunteers will help other festival volunteers check in for their shifts, as well as help visitors with wheelchair rentals.
Zero Waste Ambassador: Help the Garden be as waste minimal as possible and assist in sorting guest's trash in the following collections: Compost, Recycling, Trash.
Hand Stamper: Volunteer will monitor visitors who will be entering the festival through designated entry points.
Bayer Event Center Volunteers will support program logistics occurring in the Bayer Events Center.
Kemper: Volunteers will support program logistics occurring in the Kemper Home Gardening Center.
Farr Auditorium: Volunteers will support program logistics occurring in the Farr Auditorium.
Exit Traffic Control: Volunteer will monitor visitors who will be exiting the festival through designated exit points.
