| Description:
We are looking for volunteers to support the Green Living Festival. This year, we are bringing it back to the Garden for one big day of sustainability!
About the Event:
Hosted by Missouri Botanical Garden’s EarthWays Center, the festival will let visitors explore the links between sustainability and a healthy environment. Our experts will offer tips to make your lifestyle, workplace, community and residence greener.
Volunteer Positions:
Pre-event Volunteers can help transport items from the Commerce Bank Center for Science Education to the main campus, help vendors/exhibitors load in, and put out signage.
Event Vendor set up Help set up the event space, welcome tables, signage, and assist load in of vendors/exhibitors.
Welcome/ Registration Helping check in exhibitors, partners, and volunteers. Also answer any general event questions attendees may have! This is a seated position.
Festival Greeters/ Traffic Directors Greeting visitors and assisting with wayfinding across the Garden grounds.
Prize Table Assistant Monitor prize boxes that completed stamped passports can be dropped into for attendees to potentially win! Remind attendees where they can receive their stamps and answer general event questions. This is a seated position.
Workshop Assistant Stand near workshop locations and inform attendees of the workshops that are happening! This is a mostly standing position!
Load Out Assisting exhibitors, vendors, moving items into storage locations.
