Assist Food Bank personnel with a variety of duties from the Mobile Food Pantry. The distribution takes place outside. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
*Must find your own parking *We provide gloves *Must be 16 years or older *No volunteer drop offs! *Please review the Feeding America Food Dating Guide prior to volunteering at a Mobile Food Pantry.
Please note that there are NO open toed shoes or sandals, NO shorts above the knees and NO sleeveless or tank tops permitted.
*Please Note: ALL MOBILE DISTRIBUTIONS ARE WEATHER PERMITTED (RAIN, SNOW, FREEZING TEMPERATURES) AND CAN BE CANCELLED DUE TO OTHER FACTORS TWO HOURS BEFORE THE DISTRIBUTION. Please call Feeding Westchester at 914.923.1100 to ensure the mobile distribution will occur.
