West Sacramento - Emergency Food Assistance Program

 

Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP) is a Federal program that supplements the diets of low-income Americans by providing them with emergency food and nutrition assistance at no cost.  The Yolo Food Bank distributes EFAP commodities throughout Yolo County. Products distributed through this program vary each month but often include non-perishable goods, frozen proteins, fresh produce and grains. Volunteers are asked to help organize and distribute food products once a month. 

 

Details:

  • Every 3rd Tuesday of the month
  • 9:00 am - 10:45 am

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 30-40 pounds
  • Must wear closed toed shoes
  • 17 years old can attend without an adult
  • 16 - years old must be accompanied by adult
