The 2024 Special Olympics State Summer Games will take place at Eastern Kentucky University Powell Pavilion on June1st. A number of volunteers are needed to assist with facilitating the various Ceremonial Events that will be held throughout the Games. These events include the Closing Ceremonies/Victory Dance. Review the volunteer responsibilities for each event listed below to determine the best fit for you! Closing Ceremonies/Victory Dance - Assist with decorating the venue for the celebratory Victory Dance. Volunteers are needed to serve refreshments throughout the dance and to break out their best dance moves alongside our athletes. Assist with chair/table breakdown at the conclusion of the dance. Requires: Individuals at least 14 years of age or youth volunteers at least 12 years of age accompanied by an adult. |
