2024 Summer Games - Olympic Town

 

The 2024  State Summer Games Olympic Town will be held on Saturday, June 1st at Eastern Kentucky University.

 

Volunteers are needed to assist with facilitating the booths and activities provided for athlete and spectator entertainment. Review the volunteer roles below and consider coming out to take part in the most highly anticipated Special Olympics Kentucky competitive event of the year!

Age Eligibility for Volunteers:

 

Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Those under the age of 14 years old will not be given a volunteer assignment but, are welcomed and encouraged to attend the event to serve as fans in the stands to cheer on athletes competing at one of our sport venues as long as they are accompanied by any adult.

 

Volunteer Roles: 

 

O-Town Personnel /Traffic Control- Assist as a general volunteer willing to be placed wherever needed day of the event for traffic control of vendors existing the event. Individuals in this role must be at least 14 years of age.

 

Volunteers are asked to remain in their role for the entire shift.
