Our greatest need is having helping humans that aren’t afraid to get their hands a little dirty and help care for our pets in multiple aspects. The Adoption Center Basics (ACB) training is a 1.5 hour training where you will learn the ins-and-outs of our facility, all the different chores and tasks that need to be completed every day, and tons of fun enrichment activities to improve our animals’ daily lives.
This training is mandatory for anyone looking to work directly with our animals as we require 10 hours of ACB before being able to train to work with the cats and/or the dogs.
Staff needs help daily with animal care chores around the facility between the hours of 7:30am and 6:30pm 7 days a week! These chores include but are not limited to; dishes, laundry, sweeping, mopping, litter box washing, restocking supplies, dusting, feeding, water refilling, poop scooping, enrichment and more. |
