Monday Morning Childcare

What:

Siempre Padres will be offering a support group on Monday mornings to Latina woman. We will invite in Therapists, Life Coaches & other special speakers/staff to share certain topics around mental health.

 

During your volunteer time you will be able to play with the children, help with art activities, read to them and more!

 

Our Need:

We are looking for 2-3 consistent volunteers who are dedicated to coming to Urban Ventures each week.

 

Your volunteer work will allow these mothers to focus on growing as individuals and learning new tools to better support their family.

 

Consistency is Key -- We would appreciate if volunteers commit to a minimum of 3 times in a row (or close to that)

 

Who:

We will be providing childcare/child programming for children ages 1-4 years old. We could potentially have between 4-8 kids each Monday.

 

When:

Mondays from 10am - 12pm

Classes run from March 4th - June 3rd (No class on May 27th) 

 

Additional Notes:

- Must complete Background Check, Child Safety Training, volunteer application and additional paperwork 

- Must be over 18 years old
