Urban Ventures Summer Programming is starting next week!
That's why we're hoping to bless our community AND prepare our campus for the 120+ students that will be here for the next 7 weeks.
Through the Winter and into the Spring, there is always a lot of trash that piles up in the city.
Would you join us in helping us spruce up our neighborhood with a Summer Clean Up Day?
Event Date: Saturday, June 22nd from 10:00am - 12:00pm (pizza lunch to follow)
What To Expect: We are asking volunteers to come help us clean up trash that is scattered between our buildings, soccer fields, farm & Midtown Greenway.
You will be bending down and picking up trash, so please wear appropriate clothing.
UV will provide a pizza lunch for whoever would like to stay afterwards and enjoy it with us!
What To Bring: UV will provide trash bags, but if you have extras that you want to bring, feel free!
If you want to wear gloves or anything else that might be helpful for picking up trash outside, go for it!
Parking: We will be meeting down at our Urban Farm, which is where you can also park your cars! |
