| Description:
Volunteers are needed to assist with FeedMore WNY's Food Farmacy! The Food Farmacy is located on the campus of D'Youville University at the Health Professions HUB.
Volunteers will be responsible for assisting with the overall day-to-day tasks of the food pantry associated with the Food Farmacy. The tasks may include: helping intake clients and assisting them in creating personalized food orders, bagging and distributing food bags for clients, and stocking, rotating and cleaning the food pantry. Volunteers should be capable of packing bags, assisting with carrying them from the fourth floor to the first floor (there is an elevator and carts), and basic computer skills.
Volunteers must be 18 or older to participate in this opportunity. Training will be provided onsite at the beginning of the shift. All volunteer rules and expectations can be accessed here!
