Our partners at Salvation Army need volunteers to assist with the distribution of food products at the Salvation Army located at 1801 S Arkansas Ave, Russellville, AR.

 

Regardless of specified shift times, the event is scheduled to end when food runs out.

 

Volunteer Tasks:

  • Setting up and breaking down the distribution area
  • Unpacking and organizing food to be distributed
  • Helping with the intake process
  • Assisting recipients with taking food to their vehicles
  • Directing traffic.
  • There may be additional tasks assigned as needed.

 

Lifting Requirements: There may be some heavy lifting up to 30 pounds.

 

Dress Attire: The activities for this event may be outside, with limited covering. Please wear cool, comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.
