Lee County TEFAP Pop-up Pantry

The Arkansas Foodbank is in need of volunteers to assist with the distribution of TEFAP food products at the Marianna Civic Center.

 

Volunteer Tasks: Volunteer tasks include setting up and breaking down the distribution area, unpacking and organizing food to be distributed, helping with the intake process, assisting recipients with taking food to their vehicles, and directing traffic. There may be additional tasks assigned as needed

 

Age requirements: Volunteers must 16 years and older to volunteer for this event unless accompanied by an adult.

Lifting Requirements: There may be some heavy lifting up to 30 pounds.

Dress Attire: Please wear cool, comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.

 

Required Training: Because this is a TEFAP distribution, training is required for all volunteers. This training ensures that individuals involved in all levels of administration of programs that receive Federal financial assistance understand Federal laws, regulations, instructions, policies and other guidance.
