Glenwood TEFAP Distribution

The Arkansas Foodbank is in need of volunteers to assist with the packing and distribution of TEFAP food products at the Glenwood Church of the Nazarene.

Because this shift depends on the arrival time of the delivery truck, shift times may be subject to change by 1-3 hours. Volunteers will be notified in advance if times change.

 

Volunteer Tasks: Volunteer tasks include packing food boxes to be distributed to the community.

 

Age requirements: Volunteers must 16 years and older to volunteer for this event unless accompanied by an adult.

Lifting Requirements: There may be some heavy lifting up to 30 pounds.

Dress Attire: Please wear cool, comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.

 

Required Training: Because this is a TEFAP distribution, training is required for all volunteers. This training ensures that individuals involved in all levels of administration of programs that receive Federal financial assistance understand Federal laws, regulations, instructions, policies and other guidance.
