The City of Mountain View has a Safe Routes to School program that provides training in bicycle safety skills to students throughout the City. These training sessions include several Citywide events that are coordinated with larger recreational events in Mountain View.

Volunteers will help to support bicycle safety training activities, participate in community events and serve vulnerable community members. Activities may include distributing outreach materials, learning about City transportation activities, attending bike rodeos, signing up students for training, sharing information and materials, and supporting staff as needed.
