Ceremony staff duties:


    • Greet guests and make sure they are at the correct ceremony (consult list of graduates on the Commencement Website – list will be on the home page.
    • Assist guests with seating, building information (finding restrooms, food, first aid, etc.)
    • For guests in wheelchairs, unclip a chair on the floor (keep clip attached to removed chair) and place the wheelchair in the open spot so all guests can sit together. Please put removed chair in safe location so no one trips over it.
    • Keep aisles clear during the ceremony.
    • Assist with clearing the building after the ceremony or during an emergency

Please note - we do not have a secure location for personal items, so limit what you bring to what you can keep on your person.
