Afternoon Pantry Prep Volunteer - Indian Trail

Volunteers will work under the supervision of a Common Heart Pantry Manager to prepare food items for distribution at one of Common Heart’s Evening Pantry events. This work will involve cooperation with other volunteers, handling of food items (gloves are provided), and some light lifting. If the preparation is complete before time is up, volunteers may be asked to assist with some organization a cleaning of the pantry area.

 

Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for safety and are advised to dress comfortably to be physically active in whatever the outside temperature is the day they serve. The pantry area is enclosed, but not climate controlled.
