McLane Creek Nature Trails Work Party

Event Description:

Help Stream Team and Native Plant Salvage keep the McLane Creek Nature Trail accessible and enjoyable for everyone!

Spend a few hours with Native Plant Salvage and Stream Team as we mindfully trim back growth along the trail, pulls weeds, clear the paths, and enjoy the great outdoors! Snacks and tools are provided, and volunteers will be issued a temporary Discover Pass for this event.

BONUS: There will be a short educational plant walk (optional) directly following the volunteer event! Attend a guided tour of the nature trails, and learn some of the names and roles of our native plants. The plant walk will depart from the lower trailhead at 6 p.m., and finish around 7. All ages and levels of experience are welcome! More info at www.NativePlantSalvage.org

Our two programs committed to this work to prevent excessive vegetation removal, and are pleased to see a flourishing of native perennials along the trail since we started several years ago!
