Weekday Administrative Support at Day Center

One CORI-checked volunteer to cover our reception desk, welcoming visitors and receiving donations/packages. Although the shift may be quiet, the comforting presence of volunteers is a gift to our families and staff. You are not expected to answer FPM’s telephone. All calls will be automatically forwarded to the appropriate staff person. Staff may provide simple projects you can help with (internet research, outgoing phone calls, etc.); however, you should bring materials (electronic devices, books, crafts) to occupy yourself in case the building is quiet and staff do not need any support. 

Requirements

• Must have completed orientation. 
• Must be 18 or older
• Must come to FPM’s Day Center with Driver’s License to complete CORI check paperwork prior to first shift. 

Before Your First Shift

• Please read through the Volunteer Bulletin Board and let us know if you have any questions.
• Prior to your first shift, please contact paula@familypromisemetrowest.org to schedule a time to submit a CORI check and to tour the Day Center, if you haven't already done so.
