Description:

Join the Town of Mineral Springs and Carolina Thread Trail for a morning of preserve restoration by removing invasive autumn olive and privet and planting native plants from this 50-acre preserve that is home to the 1.7-mile Mineral Springs Greenway. Volunteer Trail Master Lynn Rivera will lead the workday. Volunteers must be 13 years of age to participate and be accompanied by an adult if under 18.

 

When: 3rd Wednesday of each month in 2024- 1/17, 2/21, 3/20, 4/17, 5/15

 

Where: Mineral Springs Greenway- 6214 McNeely Road Waxhaw, NC 28173

 

What to bring/wear: Closed toed shoes, long pants and water bottle 

 

What will be provided: Project direction and tools
