Volunteers will spend an hour volunteering in our Distribution Center, then enjoy beer from local breweries. Neighbors across Southern Colorado are struggling with hunger every single day, but you can help them get the food they need AND socialize with beer afterward!

To effectively fulfill our mission, Distribution Center volunteer opportunities will vary based on the immediate needs of the distribution center. Tasks may include inspecting/sorting/packing food for distribution, bulk food processing, off-loading and sorting food at the receiving dock, and/or refrigerator sorting and packing.

T-shirt and jeans are perfect for this rewarding work. We will provide latex gloves if asked. Closed toed shoes are required. Volunteers must be able to stand for one hour and lift 20lb.

This project is for volunteers age 21 and up. Valid ID must be presented at the door.

Important Safety Policies:

All participants must be over the age of 21 for this special event. Valid ID must be presented upon arrival for the volunteer shift
All shoes must be closed toed with no open backs
All shirts must have sleeves (no muscle shirts)
No overly loose pants are allowed
No headphones (or Bluetooth devices) are allowed in the volunteer areas or the warehouse
Please leave your valuables at home
Only designated Care and Share employees are allowed to ride or operate forklift equipment
Personal food or drinks are allowed only in the breakroom
Dress in warm layers during fall/winter months
As a courtesy to our staff and volunteers, we require all volunteers to arrive on time for your shift. If a volunteer is going to be more than 10 minutes late, we ask for you to kindly excuse yourself and reschedule your shift to volunteer with us for another date.
