Stamp Out Hunger - Multiple Locations

Stamp Out Hunger will be held this year on Saturday, May 11^th. On that Saturday, the public is asked to place bags filled with nonperishable food items next to their mailbox. A Letter Carrier will then collect the donations and take them back to their postal branch where Food Bank volunteers and staff will be on-site throughout the day to unload the postal trucks.

 

Please notice that each volunteer session has a different address. This event won't take place at the Food Bank location. 

 

Volunteers are expected to assist with:

• Help Letter Carriers unload their vehicles when they pull up to the dock, carefully placing donated items in the assembled bins.
• Check each bag for glass items and set those aside to be loaded at the end of the day to avoid broken glass.

Check the weather before heading out to make sure you are dressed in a way that will keep you comfortable and healthy, and bring a hat, sunscreen, and water just in case! 

 

Court - Ordered and Attorney Recommended Volunteers are not allowed for this particular session. WE WILL NOT VERIFY HOURS.
