Mission Waco Event Listing & Volunteer Registration

Welcome to the Mission Waco, Mission World's Community Event Registration & Volunteer Information System (CERVIS). Thank you for your desire to serve as part of the Mission Waco team.

Prior to volunteering with Mission Waco programs, all individuals must complete three key requirements to volunteer in Mission Waco ongoing programs. Please note, these steps are not required for annual special events like the Christmas Toy Store, Annual Health Fair, Thanksgiving Day etc.

• Complete a CERVIS Volunteer Profile and Application.
• Attend a volunteer orientation. To help streamline the process we have now combined our new volunteer orientation with a couple of specific program trainings. If you are interested in attending a combined training for REAP or Children/Youth programs, please choose the appropriate orientation.

• Complete a Background check. All volunteers 18 and older need to complete a background check. Once you have signed up for orientation on of our team members will send an email from the volunteer system prompting you to complete the background check online through Backgrounds Online. When you complete the form, you will also be charged a  fee of $7.95 to cover the cost. If needed, you can complete a paper copy at our main office (1315 N. 15^th St.) and pay with check or cash when you drop it off.
