Opportunity Name:
Senior Kit Reminder Phone Calls Thursday

Description:

We are looking for a consistent bi-lingual volunteer (English/Spanish) to make daily reminder phone calls to Spanish speaking senior clients.

It takes approximately 3-4 hours to get through the client list(s) each day. Some days there are less calls due to the number of clients at each site.  We ask that the calls be made between 9:00am-6:00pm.  A call list with a script will be emailed in the morning of the day you signed up for. For phone etiquette purposes, if any questions arise from the seniors, you can always refer these calls to the Food Share office until 4:00pm.

You have the option to make calls from home or do them at the Food Share office.

Best suited for those with these skills:  Computer-entering data into excel or a computer program; Bi-lingual English/Spanish (but not necessary); Comfortable speaking with senior clients over the phone; can commit to weekly help.

Before we can send you the client list, we will need the Civil Rights Training and Confidentiality forms returned with your initials and signatures on the highlighted areas. Click on the two links below.  Per our program guidelines, every volunteer that helps in the CSFP program must complete them yearly, and these forms state that we do not discriminate, and we do not share our client’s information.
