Description:
The Living Archives Charlotte is a three-year project to gather, preserve and share local histories—stories, visual imagery, documents, creative pieces, and memories—about the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, and other minority communities in Mecklenburg County.
We are looking for volunteers to correct AI transcribed interviews. This process can be done remotely, interviews and AI transcribed documents will be provided. The process will begin with listening to interviews and making corrections on the documents then make a separate document with edits. Which you will upload to the google drive.
A good candidate would have good attention to details, active listening skills, English language skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Google drive. Independent and self directed skills are a plus.
This project finishes June 30th of 2024. May also request other small organizational assignments.
