Morikami Museum


  

Project Description:

Morikami’s volunteer program enables volunteers to aid in the museum’s daily operations. Volunteers can help weekly or during special events, such as festivals.

 

Minimum Age requirement  

Weekly:    14 years old

Festivals: 12 years old (accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 21 years old)

Weekly positions include:

Museum Greeters

Museum Store

Museum Docents

Office/Administration

Bonsai Preservation

Garden Raking

Summer Tour Plus

 

 

Each position requires training that is dependent upon that area in which the volunteer is assigned to carry out their duties --- Interviews and background checks are required for weekly volunteers.
