Gratitude Volunteer

Persons with lived experience of dementia or persons with dementia will be best suited for this role. 

 

Working with the Donor Relations team, this person will express his or her thanks to those who donate and support the work of ASPKLNH.

As a result, the donors and supporters will gain a better understanding of the impact their support makes in the lives of people living with dementia right in their community. 

 

The means of thanking will depend on what suits the volunteer best. It might be making phone calls, writing cards, writing emails, making videos, or even in person if appropriate. 

 

Working with the staff, they will draft a message of thanks that is suitable and comfortable for the Volunteer. 

 

Must commit to a regular shift at the office that is agreed upon with staff person (can be flexible). One morning a month at office for 2-4 hours each time. 

 

 

Additional Privacy training will be completed with this role
