Position Title: Call Center Customer Services Volunteer

    Program: Catholic Charities of Central Florida Mission Engagement 

Responsibilities for Volunteer:


  • Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information.
  • Communicating with clients. This information can be exchanged by telephone or e-mail.
  • Answer, deliver and explain information about services.
  • Getting Information from clients
  • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Maintain records of customer phone calls. Entering or maintaining information in written or electronic form
  • Analyzing information to choose the best service.
  • Using computers or devices to enter data or process information.

Qualifications:

         ·   Needs to work with people with limited English ability patiently.

         ·    Will need to be fingerprinted and have a security clearance                              completed.

         ·     Must be 21 or older.

 

   Training: Volunteers must attend an orientation and training at the                       Catholic Charities office

 

   Scheduling: This is a flexible schedule of 3 hours minimum on Monday             through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. / 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.             Volunteers should inform the Manager of Mission Engagement                    about their schedule.
