DFC Advisory Committee Member/Lived Experience Advisor

This position will support the "Dementia Friendly Communities" initiative, by ensuring it is informed and guided by people with lived experience as a care partner or a person living with dementia through attendance at regular committee meetings. 

 

Working with the Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for attending monthly committee meetings via Zoom.

You will complete occasional surveys to provide feedback & insight on various topics related to the DFC Initiative.

You will also have the option to attend some public education sessions as a "Lived Experience Advisor" to be available to answer audience questions and share your experience as a care partner or a person living with dementia. 

 

In order to enroll you must have current or past experience living as a care partner or living with dementia.

Must have access to computer & internet and ability to use Zoom platform (training can be provided if needed).
