Opportunity Details | Mental Health Activity Center (MHAC)

Our afterschool Mental Health Activity Center (MHAC) is open for children ages 5-18 while they wait for family to finish their therapy sessions. Volunteers can engage with our kids in a small classroom-like setting by participating in a series of monthly arts and crafts activities, playing games, reading, assisting with homework, etc. Through these interactions, the MHAC offers a collaborative and safe space that can help reinforce what children are learning in therapy and develop and grow the social/emotional skills of participating children. The MHAC is open weekly Monday-Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
