Make PB&J Sack Lunches for Carr P. Collins

The Carr P. Collins Social Service Center distributes out on average 300 sack lunches per day to those who are in most need. 

 

Gather a group of volunteers whether it is from your local organization or company to host a day of making meals for those who are in most need. This amazing opportunity can be completed on-site or remotely and your place of work. 

 

***Community Service Hours are accepted for this opportunity as long as the participant comes on-site and verifies with the Program Coordinator Brandon Lopez for this opportunity for a scheduled date***

 

If this event is done on-site. Volunteers will purchase supplies and will be given a work area to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that MUST include the following:

 

1. A bag of chips

2. A Fresh Fruit or Fruit Cup (we do not recommend adding bananas)
3. Granola Bar/ Dessert like item
4. Water bottle (optional)

 

***Sandwiches should be wrapped in saran wrap or zip-loc bags***

 

Please dress accordingly. 

CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED
