Volunteer Position Description: Library Ambassadors

 

Reports to: Spanish Service Librarian, Claudeth Castellanos

 

Responsibility: The Library Ambassadors will promote the Loveland Public Library and reach the community by raising awareness of library collections, resources, and programs.

 

Duties:

Support library events and programs by:

• Helping at various outreach events
• Reaching out to the local community organizations working with Spanish-speaking patrons and keeping them informed of the resources and services available at the Library.

Required Skills: 

• Ability and desire to work with people of all ages and backgrounds
• Bilingual Spanish/English

Volunteers will be trained on presentation content and accompanied by Library staff to outreach events.
