Facilitate a Nutrition workshop with participants in our programs.

Guide participants through the essential steps of developing a healthy eating pattern that matches their goals, food preferences, and lifestyle demands.

Workshops are typically one hour long.

Workshops typically consists of 2-10 participants.

Volunteering requirements:

ALL volunteers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, with proof of vaccination on file before first shift. If you have a vaccination exemption, a negative test result can be shown upon arrival at the shelter. Test must come from an accredited lab, no home tests, and must have been performed in the previous 72 hours to arrival.
Regular shelter volunteers (those who volunteer 8 or more hours per year) must have proof of a negative TB test on file.

Upon arrival at the shelter, you will need to take your temperature and check in with staff. They will record your temperature and ask if you have experienced any symptoms.

Face coverings must be worn at all times while inside the shelter.
