Meadows Park Action Coalition (MPAC)


  

Project Description:

Middle school, high school and college students under age 22 who want to be a part of a team that identifies wants and needs within the community and communicates this to people with the capacity to make effective change are encouraged to apply for membership on this coalition. There will be various levels of involvement to meet the interest and availability of its members. Responsibilities include periodic meetings and participation at arranged events. Many social and recreational opportunities will be provided to members throughout the year.

 

MPAC members will have the opportunity to be involved in numerous experiences that may include, but not be limited to, support of the community center summer camps and summer trail run series, meetings with elected officials, development of special events and exclusive access to opportunities across the city and state, featuring the annual overnight backcountry stay at a 10th Mountain Division hut.
