Welcome to El Buen! You are one step closer in helping us address food insecurities in Central Texas! We need your help more than ever to serve our community in ensuring families gain access to healthy food and community resources. Please read the following volunteer roles available and their descriptions.

*This is an in-person program and requires all volunteers and staff to be fully vaccinated to participate.*

Our Community Garden is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 9:30am to 11:00am +/-. Volunteers working in our garden can expect to perform tasks such as planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, and garden clean-up/maintenance.

Volunteering:

You are more than welcome to volunteer at any point during the season, but we require a minimum commitment of one day per week.

We also ask for a volunteer commitment of an entire season (Spring, Summer, Fall). Please let us know your commitment time frame.

By signing up, you are agreeing that you have reviewed the CDC's recommendations on how to protect yourself and are committed to arriving at El Buen on time for your shifts. If you need to cancel, please make sure you do it in a timely manner since we are a small team. Every person on our team counts!
