If you enjoy working with high-tech gear and have a passion for excellence, we’ll be happy to teach you everything you need to know to serve with us! Most positions serve 1 full weekend (both services) per month.

We need people who are: Always alert when on task; team players; excellent multitaskers; good at troubleshooting; able to plan ahead while focused; detail-oriented; adaptable; calm under pressure; full of grace for themselves and others when mistakes are made; and always looking to improve.

Director: Responsible for putting all things (cameras, videos, graphics, etc.) on the screens in a timely manner & communicating with other volunteers about what’s happening. The one who calls the shots (literally!).

Helpful talents or skills: Able to make confident decisions when things don’t go as planned; great at communicating in the midst of chaos. You’ve considered storm chasing or skydiving. Or both at once.

Graphics Tech: Make sure correct worship lyrics are on screen before they are sung; follow along in sermon transcript and make sure proper slides are ready to show on screen; able to make changes on the fly.

Helpful talents or skills: Comfortable with computers; very familiar with popular worship songs; good timing; flexible; collaborative; supportive. Copilot; sous chef; assistant to the regional manager.

Lighting Tech: Using a lighting console, choose combinations of colors and patterns to complement worship songs, and ensure that lighting changes are made smoothly and on time. Not at East

Helpful talents or skills: A good eye for color and design; a natural sense of rhythm and how music flows. Had the most crayons of anyone in elementary school.   

Camera 1 operator: Run primary camera; maintain a good shot composition throughout service; compose creative static/dynamic shots of worship team.

Helpful talents or skills: Ability to stay focused on a task for long periods of time; steady hands; good eye for details and shot composition. If you play video games or you’re into photography, you’re hired.

Robocams operator: Run 3 robotic cameras; maintain a good shot composition on both cameras throughout service; compose creative static/dynamic shots of worship team.

Helpful talents or skills: Good eye for details and shot composition; great multitasker; able to keep track of all 3 cameras and which one is live. Have played even more video games than Cam 1.

Front of House Tech (FOH): Mix audio for worship bands, videos, and any speakers on stage; pay attention to the flow of the service and mute/unmute channels at the correct time.

Helpful talents or skills: Excellent ear for music and frequencies; able to pick out specific instruments/voices in a song. Every audio device you own has a custom EQ.

Stage Crew: Set up various stage pieces (table, podium, teaching stand, etc.) and communicate between the people on stage (band & pastors) and the tech crew.

Helpful talents or skills: Enjoys being helpful; can carry heavy objects; can focus on multiple conversations at once; courteous and friendly always; loves people and details. This position is like a box of chocolates…and herding cats…while keeping the cats out of the chocolate. Also all your clothes are black.
