Combining physical activity and social engagement, Minds in Motion® unfolds laughter and chatter, with new friendships forming and stories being shared. Both the person living with dementia and their care partner benefit from gentle, easy to follow physical activities and fun social activities focused on building personal skills. Minds in Motion® is facilitated by members of our Social Recreation Team on a weekly basis throughout our four counties. 

 

The MiM volunteer is responsible for helping with set up and clean up of refreshments, games & activities.

You will assist the Minds in Motion Coordinators to ensure activity participation and socialization - may include one-on-one support with participants

 

Sessions are 2 hours per week for 8 weeks, hours are during the weekday

 

Must be able to travel to facility 

 

Must complete general orientation, client-facing traing & DICE training
