The Salvation Army transitions hundreds of families from shelter to housing each year. The cost of purchasing cleaning supplies and needed items to make an apartment or home complete can be costly. Groups can help assist by collecting household cleaning items described below and place in a basket, or laundry hamper for families transiting into housing.

The below are just suggested items, please feel free to add or adjust accordingly. Put your creative thinking stills to the test and consider what items you might need or would like to have if you moved into a new home.
