Service Project Details

Do you have experience with photography, or are you looking to gain experience? We're looking for a volunteer photographer to help out this summer and add a wide variety of photos to our photo archives!

This position is very flexible based around your schedule and location, although weekends will likely be best for capturing photos of park users.

Specifically, Story County Conservation is looking for recreational photos of park-users kayaking, fishing, hiking, camping, and enjoying our parks/areas in general this summer! These images will be used for social media, flyers, in our print newsletter, and more.

Parks of specific interest include McFarland Park, Dakins Lake, West Peterson Park, and Hickory Grove Park.

We prefer a volunteer provides their own photo equipment/camera, however, it may be possible that we can provide one.

More specific details will be discussed after volunteer registration has been approved.
