Culinary Hospitality and Logistics Fellow

Position Summary:

·      

·        Aid in the launch of Papa Mike’s Café, and help build capacity amongst volunteer activities in culinary services.

 

Primary Job Duties:

1. 
   

            Provide dignity and respect to everyone seeking meals through Papa Mike's Café and culinary services.

2. Model best practices for staff, clients, and volunteers engagement throughout Papa Mike's Café by organizing greeters, bussers, servers, and expos.
3. Help maintain an organized work environment in the warehouse and food preparation areas.
4. Track and report accurate metrics for outgoing food on campus and outbound sites.
5. Assist operations with food acquisition, product donations, inventory count, and purchase orders.  

Secondary Job Duties:

1. Maintain a working knowledge of available community resources.
2. Highlight engagement opportunities with community members utilizing the donation lane.
3. Implement safety and sanitation policies to ensure quality food service.
4. Empower a growth mindset for those facing adversity by inspiring hope and resilience.
5. Display a willingness to learn and seek ongoing training toward professional development.
6. Other duties, as relevant and assigned by assigned supervisors.
