Service Project Details

This is an opportunity to volunteer from home. This position cannot be used to complete court-mandated service hours.

Hunger affects 1 of 6 seniors in our communities here in Central and Eastern Kentucky. Every month, God’s Pantry Food Bank gathers and distributes enough food to pack more than 300 boxes for senior households in need of assistance in Lexington, Kentucky.

Help us make these boxes even better by making cards or writing letters to be included in the boxes. Make a digital card using the digital platform of your choice OR write a letter. Please use light colored or white background. Finished cards and letters can be sent to volunteerservices@godspantry.org

Cards and letters containing personally-identifying information will not be included. As we serve people of any, all, and no faith traditions, we ask that the cards reflect that inclusiveness.
