Opportunity Details | 2024 Meadows Park Community Center Food Rescue Program

Help staff coordinate the effort of receiving rescued food from area vendors, then sorting it and finally distributing it to customers. Generally, between 1,000-2,000 lbs of food is delivered to the community center each Thursday morning and is distributed by 1 p.m. that same afternoon. Volunteers may be required to stand for more than 30 minutes at a time and to lift items in excess of 10 lbs.
