Description:

Help an animal in need by fostering today! With expert support, veterinary resources and all supplies provided, fosters provide loving, temporary homes for Gwinnett Animal Welfare’s most vulnerable residents.

 

This often includes pet who are:

  • Recovering from illness or injury
  • Too young or too small for adoption 
  • Pregnant, nursing, newborn or bottle-fed
  • Building confidence and learning to trust
  • Displaced by natural disasters

All Fosters need to be at least 18-years of age and have a liability waiver on file prior to the in-person home inspection. 

 

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Gwinnett County Government. Volunteers are an essential part of connecting our vibrant community.

 

All Gwinnett County volunteers are required to agree and complete the WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE form. Please download and complete the form below before participating in any volunteer project or event.

This volunteer opportunity is not eligible for court-ordered community service hours.
